Looking for a relaxed lifestyle? Convenience? Plenty of space for your family to spread out?

These are the types of things you’ll find when you build your home in Jesperdale, one of Sterling’s newest communities. It’s located in the quiet suburb of Spruce Grove, and we think you’ll find it has a lot to offer your family.

Keep reading to learn more about this community and see if it’s the right fit for you.

A Gorgeous Neighbourhood

Okay, we might be biased, but we think Jesperdale is an absolutely perfect neighbourhood. One of the prime features is Dog Creek, which winds through the centre of the community. Combined with the other nature trails and ponds scattered throughout, it’s the perfect way for you to stay active without having to go far. Just step out your door to go on a walk with stunning scenery.

Those with kids appreciate the open green spaces; an ideal spot for picnics or tossing a frisbee. There’s even a playground area where families can meet up. And you’ll love the general layout of the neighbourhood, which includes numerous cul de sacs. These quieter streets are great for bike riding, and the lots at the end are pie-shaped, giving you a bigger backyard.

A Great Selection of Homes

In Jesperdale, Sterling is focusing on building large family homes that meet both your needs and your budget; affordable homes without compromise.

The Allure model is the perfect example of this. The main floor of this 1,800+ square foot home features an open-concept living space with a walk-through pantry. You have the option of having a large mudroom and/or foyer or turning that space into an office or den. It’s all about your needs. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms with a bonus room in the centre. There’s also a nicely sized laundry room on this level, making it easy to get this chore done.

The Thomas model is ideal for those looking for extra room. It has over 2,500 square feet, which will give your family space to spread out. The extra room on the first floor can be made into a bedroom if you’re looking for a guest room. There’s also an option for a spice kitchen. On the second floor, you again have choices to suit your needs. You could have three bedrooms and an oversized bonus space, or you could have four bedrooms with a more modest bonus room. Parents will especially love the option of two walk-in closets in their master suite, especially when combined with the spa-like ensuite.

And remember, there’s always the option to finish the basement, adding extra bedrooms and extra living space.

Lots of Nearby Amenities

You’ll find plenty of amenities close to your new home, which is essential for your happy lifestyle. For instance, there are grocery stores like No Frills, Save-On Foods and Real Canadian Superstore. The Hillside Centre, Spruce Grove Centre, and King Street Mall are all within a short driving distance as well. You can really get everything you need close to your home.

You’ll also find plenty of recreational opportunities. Just next to Jesperdale, there’s a golf course. There’s also Fieldstone Park and the Tri Alta Leisure Centre. And if you’ve got a dog, you’ll want to make frequent trips to the Spruce Grove off-leash dog park.

Great School Options

You won’t have to worry about your kids’ education living in Jesperdale. There are a lot of great choices of schools nearby. The public elementary schools Brookwood and Millgrove are both K-4 schools, while the French immersion school Ecole Broxton Park School is K-9. Greystone Centennial and Woodhaven Middle Schools are both grades 5-9. Most kids eventually end up at the Spruce Grove Composite High School for the final years before college.

Of course, there are also quite a few Catholic schools in the area if you’re interested in a religious-based education, such as the St. Joseph and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools.

A Convenient Commute

People choose Jesperdale because they want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but it’s still conveniently located. It’s just about 10 minutes away from West Edmonton, only a 35-minute drive to the downtown area and under 45 minutes to Edmonton International Airport. And there are plenty of Jesperdale residents who work in Spruce Grove. If that’s the case for you, it will take less than 15 minutes to get to work!

Clearly, Jesperdale has a lot to offer its residents, and we think you’re going to love it once you check out the community for yourself.. Why not book an appointment to come out and see it today?
