Does LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) scratch? What do I do if I scratch it?
Vinyl plank is relatively scratch-resistant, however, accidents can still happen. There are however some preventative measures you can follow to prevent scratching, such as adding felt or silicone floor protectors to furniture legs and ensuring you don’t drag furniture when moving it.
If your LVP does scratch, start by cleaning the floor. What to do next depends on how deep the scratch is. For light scratches, you can try using an eraser, the rubber sole of a shoe, or a tennis ball. For deeper scratches, you may need to sand and wax the scratch out.
